Prayer bracelet

The prayer bracelet wraps around the wrist like a moving rosary, a perpetual spiritual cycle, a silent invocation wrapped in material form. It is the link between the hands that act and the heart that prays.

In some cultures, it is made of 33 or 99 beads, sometimes 27, 54 or 108, depending on the rituals it accompanies. It is used to count prayers, repeat a mantra, or calm the mind in a meditative impulse. It can be made of sacred wood, semi-precious stone (agate, onyx, quartz, sandalwood), or knotted thread like blessed Tibetan bracelets.

It is sometimes adorned with a small discreet symbol: cross, Om, star, moon, protective hand. It is worn all day, becoming a constant reminder of the divine presence, a source of peace in turmoil, a living, portable tool of faith.
